Texas Starts Here

Howdy, Austin! 🤠

Here stands the Texas State Capitol, in Texas capital city. The Capitol is made of distinctive pink Texas granite—no wonder it looks so radiant against the sky.

Its architectural design definitely demands your attention the moment you see it.

The beautifully manicured lawns were freshly cut, and the smell of fresh grass made the visit even more enjoyable. They say it takes about 40 minutes to walk around the grounds—but I couldn’t verify that 😄.

Moments 🤍

We didn’t make it that far because the boys were busy running around and chasing squirrels. We still got to explore a few statues around the Capitol and learned a bit about the history behind them.

In the middle of it all

Have you been here before?

Either way, we wrapped up the Capitol stroll with a cold macchiato in hand ☕🤍
